On July 18, 2025, Hotta Studio officially announced the upcoming launch of a brand-new server for Tower of Fantasy, named "Warped Server" (跃迁服), set to go live in August. This server represents a massive system overhaul aimed at eliminating Pay to Win barriers and delivering a truly anime-style MMO experience.

The Warped Server introduces four major changes:

No Gacha – Free Powerful Weapons from the Start:

The gacha system for weapons and matrices has been removed. Players will receive six powerful weapons for free and can obtain cosmetics, vehicles, and support items through gameplay, daily logins, and events.

Season-Based Progression – Fair and Fresh:

To prevent power creep, equipment updates with each season, making it easier for new players to catch up. Special rewards are also available every season.

Player-to-Player Trading:

A new Trade House and Auction House system allows players to farm and sell items such as matrices, outfits, and crafting materials, enabling a true in-game economy.

Enhanced Social & Co-op Gameplay:

The server emphasizes social interaction through new co-op modes, guild events, and synchronized QTE attacks that trigger powerful combo animations.

Hotta Studio is also inviting open feedback from players to refine this new experience, with the goal of making "Warped Server" a reimagined version of Tower of Fantasy—free from Pay to Win mechanics and built for long-term, meaningful enjoyment.
